Partner Deep Dives
Foresight Sports — CRITICAL DEPENDENCY
Current owner: Strategic Value Partners (SVP, $19B AUM) via Revelyst — taken private for $1.125B EV in January 2025.
What breaks without it: All Foresight GCQuad, QuadMAX, GC3, GCHawk, Falcon, and Bushnell Launch Pro integrations stop working. 500–700 license initialization failures per week already occur in the field (AppKey validation). Foresight accounts for an estimated 30–40% of SC’s launch monitor customer base.
Agreement status: The original GCQuad SDK License (signed June 2017, 36-month term) expired June 2020. SC has operated on an implied license for nearly 6 years. Foresight can revoke the AppKey at any time with no contractual obligation.
2026 renewal: Draft agreement created Feb 13, 2026. Key additions: 5-year term, Change of Control clause (ABG requirement), 36-month customer continuity wind-down, AppKey protection. Negotiation channel: Tim Briand (Foresight VP Sales — also a potential CSO candidate). Not yet sent to Foresight.
Key risks:
- AppKey kill switch — technical architecture gives Foresight unilateral power
- Foresight building competing ecosystem (FSX Play + Sportsbox AI partnership)
- Tim Briand dual role: negotiation channel AND recruit target — must sequence carefully
- ABG M&A approach to Revelyst paused until agreement secured
- Actual signed agreement (FSDK.pdf) is NOT in the investor data room — wrong file labeled
Mitigating factors: 9 years of de facto royalty-free access establishes strong implied license. EU Software Directive (Art. 6) protects interoperability rights — cannot be waived by contract. SC is listed as official authorized integration partner on Foresight’s website.

TrackMan — LOCKED OUT — Now a Competitor
Background: Original SDK partnership dates to 2007. In October 2017, TrackMan demanded all API partners make TrackMan the exclusive launch monitor in their software. SC declined (preserving its vendor-neutral positioning). Integration frozen for new customers since ~2018.
Power dynamic: TrackMan revenue ~$265M (DKK 1.82B); SC ~$5.5M. Asymmetric relationship. TrackMan is family-owned and controls access on a partner-by-partner basis with exclusivity as standard.
Now a competitor: TrackMan launched 3D Motion Analysis built into TrackMan Performance Studio (TPS) in late 2025 — AI markerless body tracking that directly competes with SC’s biomechanics value proposition. TrackMan has also given Smart2Move (a direct SC force plate competitor) API access.
SC’s legal position is strong: EU Software Directive Art. 6 (statutory decompilation right for interoperability, cannot be contractually overridden), Norwegian Andsverkloven Section 23b, DMCA 1201(f) (US), Google v. Oracle fair use. The 2007 and 2014 SDK agreements may never have been formally terminated.
TrackMan IO gap: The FORJ/Tee Box opportunity (60+ venues) is blocked because TrackMan IO does not support the Legacy SDK. CTO identified 5 alternative integration vectors including WebSocket API (1–2 days to prototype) and file-based CSV export.
Revenue impact: TrackMan represents ~16% of LM-related support interactions. All are legacy customers — no new additions since ~2018. The integration freeze has not prevented SC from growing from 30M to 55M NOK revenue.

Full Swing Golf — COOPERATIVE — Healthiest LM Relationship
Company: Carlsbad, CA. ~$45–48M revenue. Owned by Bruin Capital (George Pyne). Keith Bank (KB Partners) on board. KB Partners invested $127M Fund II in 2021.
Current integration: Open XML/TCP protocol (simulator, no vendor kill switch) + KIT Launch Monitor via LM Connect SDK (.NET NuGet package). Integration is “functionally working” — TCP connection “rock solid.” Full Swing granted SC access to point cloud data.
Active collaboration: Email thread active Feb–Mar 2026 with multiple Full Swing contacts. Full Swing offered to install a simulator in SC’s Trondheim lab. They want to consolidate from 2 PCs to 1 (deepening coupling). Baseball SDK “definitely planned.”
SDK agreement: Draft sent Feb 25, 2026 by John DeLeon. Under internal review at SC. Not yet signed but no adversarial dynamic.
Market momentum: TGL Official Technology Partner (Tiger Woods / Rory McIlroy; ABC/ESPN; 18 KIT units at venue). Back Nine Indoor Golf: 400+ locations by end of 2027 — exclusive FS simulator partnership. 1,000+ Pro licenses opportunity if FSG/Back Nine deal closes.
KB Partners / Keith Bank nexus: SC approaching KB Partners for investment while Full Swing (KB portfolio) is SC’s most cooperative LM partner creates both opportunity (shared value narrative) and complexity (conflict analysis required).

Bertec / Berme LLC — SUPPLIER + SHAREHOLDER + EMERGING COMPETITOR
Structure: Bertec Corporation supplies SC’s embedded/fixed force plates (Motion Plate). Berme LLC (Murat Berme, Bertec CEO) holds 7.25% of Initial Force AS — 4th largest shareholder. No board seat.
No signed agreement: The entire supplier relationship operates without a formal contract. The January 2023 API License Agreement (30% royalty on Net Sales Price) remains unsigned. Bertec could revoke SDK access with 7-day cure notice under the unsigned draft terms.
Emerging competitive threat: Bertec is selling direct to MLB facilities. Tucker Nathans confirmed: “22 since the Brewers were taken from us by Bertec.” Active baseball product development (pitching mound R&D), Vicon integration partnership, sports performance push. TC shared “Meeting Prep Notes: Bertec Sales Conflict” with leadership on March 16, 2026.
AxioForce transition: SC signed with AxioForce (Dec 2025) to replace Bertec portable plates. Fixed/embedded plates still depend entirely on Bertec — no alternative sourced. TC notified Murat Berme directly of the portable switch.
Investor flags: No supply agreement → “What prevents Bertec from competing directly?” (nothing contractual). 30% royalty draft → would be extremely onerous if enforced. Berme as shareholder → governance complexity; information rights by default under Aksjeloven.

AxioForce — New Portable Force Plate Partner
Company: University of Kansas spinout (~2020). Magnetic-field-based soft 3D force sensors (Fx, Fy, Fz + moments). 7,000N per plate capacity. Up to 1,000 Hz sampling.
Agreement: Non-exclusive worldwide distribution (Dec 10, 2025). SC buys at 30% discount from MSRP. SC brands as “Swing Catalyst Dual Force Plates” — AxioForce not mentioned in customer-facing materials.
Economics: Launch Pad Lite: SC cost $7,000, retail $9,995 — ~$3,000 gross margin (43% markup). $13,995 bundle (plates + 2 Fox cameras + 3-year Pro+) captures higher total value.
Risks: Non-exclusive (GASP already sells same plates at 2–4 units/week in EU). No software lock-in (aspirational only). 1-year term with mutual renewal — not auto-renewing. University spinout production risk.
Pipeline: Force insoles in clinical testing (SC on 5-company shortlist; realistic July 2026). Wireless plates ~9 months out. 1,000 Hz sampling included on Lite plates within 8–12 weeks.

Golf Genius / CoachNow — McIlroy / TPG Sports Pathway
Agreement: Integration and Marketing Agreement, active until Dec 31, 2026 (auto-renewing). No payment between parties — trade in-kind. SC sends .mp4 lesson files to CoachNow coaches.
Ownership chain: Golf Genius Software → Symphony Ventures (Rory McIlroy) → TPG Sports launched May 2025 (McIlroy + O’Flaherty as Operating Partners; TPG $246B AUM; Lunate anchor at ~$110B AUM).
Strategic value: SC is the only force-plate/biomechanics platform in CoachNow Academy’s partner list. Spencer Dennis (CoachNow founder, now SC consultant at $5K/mo) is the connective tissue to Symphony Ventures and TPG Sports. This is not a cold pitch to TPG — SC is already embedded in their coaching ecosystem.
Risks: Integration is technically shallow (.mp4 only, no structured biomechanical data). Spencer’s 3-month contract (Dec 2025) may have lapsed. CoachNow adding its own AI skeleton tracking (2025) — potential future encroachment.

Global Distributor Network — Structurally Underperforming
Distributor network delivered ~$527K against a $1.22M budget in 2025 — 43% attainment.
| Distributor | Territory | 2025 Actual | Budget | Variance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| FS Canada (Aaron Hardy) | Canada | $186K | $150K | +$36K |
| GTAP | SE Asia | $110K | $200K | -$90K |
| Tae | South Korea | $60K | $150K | -$90K |
| CERO | Dubai/Middle East | $39K | $100K | -$61K |
| Shinya | Japan | $32K | $200K | -$168K |
| SC EU | Europe | ~$106K | $422K | -$316K |
Root causes: Price sensitivity (70–80% Japan leads drop on sticker shock); PC-tethered vs. mobile-first expectations; post-sale support rated 1/5 in Canada; zero enablement materials (no landing pages, email templates, demo kits, local-language content as of March 2026 Focus Sprint).
Opportunity: AxioForce portable plates at <$10K MSRP change the price equation. FSG/Back Nine deal (if closed) = 1,000+ software licenses. Design2Golf (currently GASP’s US distributor) has expressed interest in switching to SC.

Camera Supply (Hikrobot / Fox & Lynx) — Transitioning to Direct
Products: SC Fox (USB3, $695) and SC Lynx (GigE, $695) are branded Hikrobot cameras with ~73% gross margin. SC supports 20+ camera manufacturers (FLIR, IDS, Allied Vision, Basler) providing hardware independence.
Supply issues: Fox cameras out of stock in US (Feb 2026: “Mid March” expected). Sony sensor shortages, lens lead times, Korea customs limits. Lynx GigE compatibility issues in 5–6 customer cases (Jan 2026).
Direct deal: Transitioning from HiFly reseller to Hikrobot direct. Master Sales Agreement draft submitted Jan 2026. Key term: custom SDK ensures cameras “operate only with SC software” (bilateral lock-in). PRC governing law / CIETAC arbitration — enforcement risk for Norwegian company.
iPhone-as-camera: iOS app in development (Q2 2026 GA target). Eliminates hardware barrier for Home users. Will cannibalize Fox camera sales in that segment but expected to improve subscription conversion.
